We are Kobanzame, a vintage shop in an old wooden house in Kawagoe. Among vintage printed tees, you sometimes find one made for a single gathering. This is one of those.
What it was made for
From 1947 to 1964, St. Louis, Missouri had a drive-in called "Wild's Palace of Poison". In 1994 its regulars held a "Second Annual Reunion", and this shirt was made for it.
The print
On the front: a skull and crossbones, a tombstone and the drive-in itself, with "Cruisin' Will Never Die!" and "Eat Here If It Kills You". The back is packed with logos of local garages and sponsors.
Body and size
Fruit of the Loom BEST, 50/50 cotton-polyester, made in U.S.A. A true oversized XXL, best worn on its own. It has the natural feel of a 30-year-old shirt, with no noticeable damage.
Who it's for
Anyone who likes things a little sinister and very cool: classic American cars, rockabilly, hot rods.
