We are Kobanzame, a vintage shop in an old wooden house in Kawagoe. Now and then we find clothes still exactly as they were on the shop floor. This jacket still has its price tag and basting stitches.
What it is
A Bon Vivant tailored jacket made in America in the 1970s–80s. Deadstock, with the JCPenney price tag ($79.99) and basting stitches still in place.
Fabric and silhouette
Linen mixed with silk and viscose gives an unusual texture, with the relaxed silhouette of its time. Unused and in good condition.
Who it's for
Anyone looking for a jacket that works on its own from late summer into autumn, and who wants period tailoring in unused condition.
